3 Levels of Training

Level 1 - One Day Foundation Training - Schoolteachers' Course

The one day Yoga Bananas® Schoolteachers' Course is for those who would like to train as a teacher in breathing, visualisation, physical theatre and meditation to creatively work with children to help them live a meaningful life. The content is taken from the 3 Day course, cherry-picking those Yoga Bananas Technique™ elements that require no formal training in yoga. Although some of the yoga asana work is removed, the main elements of the Hatha Yoga tradition are preserved. This course is open to anyone but is most suitable for schoolteachers and health professionals working with children who do not have a formal yoga practice. Every student is personally trained by founder and director, Skip Oliver, who draws on her 18 year experience of training teachers in the Technique™.

Level 2 - Three Day Comprehensive Training - Yoga Teachers' Course

This pioneering three day course has been running since 1998; an accredited children's yoga teacher training course that offers an intelligent, practical and highly creative approach to teaching children's yoga, equipping you with the tools to inspire and cherish all primary age children whilst developing your own strengths and potentialities. This course is open to anyone who has been practising yoga for 2 years. Every student is personally trained by founder and director, Skip Oliver, who draws on her 18 year experience of training teachers in the Technique™. CPD approved by Yoga Alliance US, Yoga Alliance Professionals & Independent Yoga Network.

Level 3 - One Day Advanced Training - Teachers' Teen Module

This teenage yoga teacher training course equips those who have trained in the 3-11 Course with the tools to empower teens. The course has been running since 2004 and expands and makes relevant all the elements of the Yoga Bananas Technique™ for the older age group, reinforcing the importance of a healthy lifestyle coupled with body and mind awareness to aid sport and learning, so that adolescents learn to draw upon the lessons they've learnt on their mat to help them cope with the stresses and strains of school, the digital age and developing into an adult. This course is open to anyone who has completed te 3-11 Course. Again this course has a highly personal, creative and original approach. and is taught one-to-one or in small number by Skip Oliver. CPD approved.
