More PE In Schools Please

Blood cells move oxygen around the body. Breath moves the lungs. When a heart moves it pumps blood. When spines move they create motion. In short, movement gives life to our children from the moment they are born. So why is so little physical activity offered in our schools? Children are by definition ‘lively’ and not allowing them an active existence at school demotes their spirit. Physical activity also gleans psychological benefits in the form of better cognitive performance and fewer behavioural issues, not to mention cutting down on stress and anxiety.
