Standing Still Is A Strength
‘On Guard’ - the Yoga Bananas® version of Tadasana - teaches children to stand still and wait for the mind to clear and strengthen its defences against reactionary behaviour. It helps children to find a route back to the heart space and rational, kind actions. Make a habit of reminding the children you mentor or care for to notice when they are acting unreasonably and encourage them to stand still in ''On Guard' and breathe in as quickly as possible to mitigate the formation of mental scar tissue. #stillness
